A medical abortion is done by combining two prescribed tablets. These make you expel the pregnancy. The medical termination takes between two and four weeks to complete.
A surgical abortion, on the other hand, requires an approximate 15 minute surgical procedure under anaesthesia where everything is done on the same day. We don’t currently offer surgical abortions.
